Community

SCSi and its employees are committed to making a positive contribution to the local community in the geographies of its operations. Through its official channels SCSi supports a number of initiatives that target revival of traditional arts/crafts and the artisans engaged in the same. A good example of a large community initiative is the work done by Scsi Capital with carpet weavers across the region enabling best practice sharing, helping access new markets and bringing in bleeding edge technologies in traditional materials such as vegetable dyes.

Commitment to Local Governments
Every SCSi team member is required to commit at least 20% of his time to working on programs and projects that are of importance and significance to Local governments.

Commitment to Spiritual, Cultural and Art Activities
SCSi team members are required to spend 10% of their time to work closely with spiritual, cultural and artisan groups of their choice.
